bauma is the world’s leading sector event for construction machinery, building material machines, mining machines, construction vehicles and construction equipment. With a total exhibition space of 605,000 square meters, bauma is also the largest trade show in the world. In 2016 bauma broke again all previous records, attracting a total of 3,425 exhibitors from 58 countries, and 583,736 visitors from 219 countries. bauma takes place every three years in Munich; the dates for the next edition are April 8 to 14, 2019.
This prize is coveted. The award is highly valued, even beyond the sector. Products that receive the Innovation Prize are considered pioneering. Entries have therefore once again been submitted by companies, universities and research establishments across Europe and beyond.
The site in the east of Munich will be expanded to 614,000 square meters, the number of halls will be increased to 18. The organizer anticipates that more exhibitors will attend than at bauma 2016. bauma will be held from April 8-14, 2019. A video explains the new structure.
Visits of multipliers in Toronto, Ottawa and Montreal end of November marked the start of the bauma partner country promotion activities in Canada. High-level MMI and VDMA representatives discussed forms of cooperation with local partners. The aim is to encourage more Canadian business people to visit bauma 2019.
